There is a big difference between unemployment and productive unemployment. In my productive unemployment, I have attended conferences, gone on a mission trip, volunteered at a local community site, applied for different opportunities, read a lot of books, visited friends and spent lots of time with the family. I call this productivity and I'm happy about it! :)
